Politics and culture, cultural politics. They make the world go round.  And that is what I’ll be posting ideas about in this space.  I hope my posts will stimulate  many conversations.  I look forward to adding my voice to those who care about what is happening all around us,  whether in our own communities or communities around the world.  Stay tuned!

From a piece on the Bahia of Zihuatenejo to a look at Carmen’s incredible, award-winning book about her experiences growing up in the wake of Pinochet’s Chile to a promotional piece about art by Children from the Gaza strip, I’ve been slowly beginning to awaken to the world around me during the last year.

The short promo piece for A Child’s View from Gaza is my small way of bringing attention to these children from Gaza who have experienced what for me, is the unimaginable trauma of daily bombing, water, food and hydro shortages in a region where natural wealth provided for centuries.

So that’s the story for today!
